<li>Relaxing Breathing (4-7-8): Insomnia keeping you awake? Give the 4-7-8 technique a try. Inhale for 4 through your nose, hold for 7, exhale for 8 through your mouth.</li>
<li>Equal Breathing (4-4): Derived from the pranayama practice called Sama Vritti, this breath helps shift focus away from racing thoughts and distractions. Inhale for 4, exhale for 4. All through your nose. (Once you feel comfortable, you can experiment with a 6 or 8 count.)</li>
<li>Measured Breathing (4-1-7): Employ this handy stress-reducing technique anytime, anywhere. Breathe in for 4, hold for 1, exhale for 7. All through your nose.</li>
